A Rainy Afternoon

Yesterday afternoon, it was raining. The sky was gray, and the wind was blowing hard. The children were staying inside. Marlo was sitting by the window and watching the rain. She was drawing pictures in her notebook. Noa was reading a comic book on the couch. He was also drinking hot chocolate. Mia was helping her mom in the kitchen. They were baking cookies, and the house was smelling so good! While the children were doing their activities, the dog was sleeping on the rug. The cat was jumping on the table and playing with a pencil. Later, the rain was stopping, and the sun was shining a little. The children were putting on their jackets and boots.
