A city has many different places. People go to each place for a reason.
Children go to school to learn new things. Sick people go to the hospital to see a doctor. You can read books at the library or buy food at the supermarket. Firefighters work at the fire station and help in emergencies. People wait for the bus at the bus station. On Sundays, many families go to church.
City places help everyone live, learn, travel, and stay safe.
