The Best Day at the Park

The Best Day at the Park

It was the brightest morning of the week, and the park looked the greenest it had ever been. Mia arrived first. She wore her happiest smile and carried the smallest ball. Leo came later with the loudest laugh and the tallest bottle of water. Tom, the oldest and often the quietest, brought the biggest ball of all.

They found the shadiest tree and sat on the softest grass. It was the perfect place to rest. When they started playing, Mia was the fastest runner, Leo was the silliest dancer, and Tom was the strongest kicker.

Before going home, they all agreed: it was the best afternoon of the year.
