The Three Friends at the Park

The Three Friends at the Park Yesterday was warmer than last week, so three friends went to the park. Mia is younger than Leo, but she walks faster. Leo is taller than both of his friends, yet he runs slower than Mia. Tom is the oldest, and also the strongest, but he is the quietest too. Mia brought a small ball. Leo’s ball was bigger, and Tom had the biggest ball of all. They tried each one and decided the smaller ball was easier to throw, but the bigger one was more exciting to kick. The Best Day at the Park

The Best Day at the Park

It was the brightest morning of the week, and the park looked the greenest it had ever been. Mia arrived first. She wore her happiest smile and carried the smallest ball. Leo came later with the loudest laugh and the tallest bottle of water. Tom, the oldest and often the quietest, brought the biggest ball of all.

They found the shadiest tree and sat on the softest grass. It was the perfect place to rest. When they started playing, Mia was the fastest runner, Leo was the silliest dancer, and Tom was the strongest kicker.

Before going home, they all agreed: it was the best afternoon of the year.
