Last Sunday, Emma and her family went to the zoo. It was a sunny day, and many people were visiting the zoo.
While
Emma’s dad was buying the tickets, Emma and her little brother were looking at
the map.
They wanted to see the lions, the elephants, and the monkeys.
First, they walked to the lion area. The lions were sleeping under a tree. One lion was yawning while the others were lying in the sun.
Then, they visited the elephant enclosure. The elephants were eating grass and one baby elephant was playing with water. Emma took a photo while the elephant was splashing its trunk.
Later,
while they were walking to the monkey area, it started to rain.
Many people were running to stay dry, but Emma’s family brought umbrellas.
At
lunchtime, they sat at a picnic table and ate sandwiches.
While they were eating, some birds were flying nearby, hoping for crumbs.
In the
afternoon, they went to the gift shop.
Emma bought a giraffe key chain, and her brother chose a tiger toy.
Everyone was smiling as they left the zoo. It was a fun and exciting day!
