One morning, Milo the monkey woke up with a wiggle in his toes.
“I will do something amazing today!” he shouted, swinging from a vine. πΏ
“Wait,” said his parrot friend, Polly. “You should brush your teeth first!”
Milo nodded. “True. I must stay fresh if I want to be a jungle star.” π¦·✨
He brushed. He flossed. He even sang a toothpaste song.
Then he grabbed his sunglasses. “I can dance like nobody’s watching,” he said, spinning in circles.
“But you might fall in the mud,” Polly warned. Too late! SPLAT. ππ¦
“Oops,” Milo giggled. “Next time I could try dancing slower.”
“Shall we go to the waterfall?” asked Polly.
“Only if I may bring snacks!” Milo grinned, stuffing bananas into his backpack. π
At the waterfall, Milo saw a shiny rock. “Do you think I should take it?”
Polly flapped her wings. “Maybe not. It might belong to the frogs.”
A tiny frog peeked out and croaked, “You mustn’t take my favorite seat!”
“Sorry, Mr. Frog!” Milo blushed. “I would never steal a seat on purpose.”
By sunset, Milo was tired, muddy, and full of banana chips.
“Today was amazing,” he sighed, watching the stars.
“And tomorrow,” he whispered, “I will be even kinder, funnier, and wiser.”
Polly smiled. “With you, every day can be marvelous.”
